Event Details

On Sunday, September 18th, 2011 Mountain Valley Hospice will host Stride & Ride 4 Hospice, a bigger and better combined event of our Annual Butch Putman Car Show & Memorial Walk for Hospice!  This family fun event, held at Hales Mills Golf Course, will offer an opportunity to remember loved ones who have died as well as celebrate the lives of those we have had the privilege of caring for at Mountain Valley Hospice.

Gather a team or walk individually as you enjoy the sights and sounds of classic cars and the best of the Adirondack Mountains! Enjoy a free concert by FLAME after the Memorial Service!

Though this is a free event, walkers are encouraged to obtain pledges from family, friends and co-workers (and don't forget about possible corporate matching gifts).  These pledges help Hospice provide care to all families regardless of an individual's ability to pay.

Registration for the walk begins at 12noon.  A Memorial Service to remember loved ones begins at 1pm and walkers are encouraged to bring pictures, mementos etc. to decorate our Memorial Wall.  The casual walk along the driving range will be from 1pm - 3pm.  FLAME will play at 1:45pm.

This family fun event will include music, food, face painting, a bounce house, raffles and plenty of FUNdraising!
